I got to spend a couple of weeks at my sister's house in November, and it was really good for my sewing. I have some put away items almost done now, including a queen size quilt top, two wall hangings, an afghan and a birthday sweater. Now pictures yet, because they will all be gifts in this next month
Now I need to find some very quick things to make for Christmas. A stay in the hospital has robbed me not only of money but of energy to get anything done at all. I'm still able to knit and sew, but finding things that can be done quickly is getting to be quite difficult
I'm thinking all sorts of bags for most of the ladies. Big carry all bags and small jewerly type bags. Maybe some scarves for the younger girls. I think the boys are always the hardest to figure out, but if I put my mind to it, I'll come up with something that will be just as fun.
I really can't wait for December to be over so that I can get back on my January list from last year, and maybe I'll actually get the things done this year. That would be so exciting for me. I can't wait to see what my needles turn out this time
Time to make a list of the must buy items and see just how far I can stretch my meager budget plus postage.
