My doctor has been after me for years to move to teaching. She says it is time to stop doing so much and start teaching others how to do....
And so knowing that she is right, I put an ad on craiglist and away I went. There were a few bits, not very many, but any beginnine is good
Tonight was my first class. So nervous, I went over my lesson plan in my head several times, even talked to the girls about what to do, how to do this.
I cleaned the sewing room, did some rearranging, making space and some art supplies available to her tag along daughter and sat down to wait
and wait
..... and wait
7:00 came and went. She doesn't answer the phone. Has not shown up by 8, I turn off the porch light and tears welling in my eyes, head upstairs to think about what else I can sell, how else I can make money.....
The sadness is a bit over whelming tonight
